By using Safi you accept the following terms.
Safi is a helper tool that reads a product's ingredients via barcode or photo, explains the additives in plain language and informs you from a halal perspective.
Safi issues no official halal certificate and no religious ruling (fatwa). The results are for information only. "Doubtful" means that the source of an ingredient is unclear and that the manufacturer should be asked. The final decision about whether a product really is halal rests with the product's own official certification and with your own judgement.
The results are not medical, nutritional or allergy advice. For allergy and health decisions, rely on the product's official label and on a qualified professional.
Assessments are produced using artificial intelligence and open databases; they may contain errors, gaps or out-of-date information. No guarantee of accuracy is given. Always check the label yourself as well.
You will use the app only for lawful, personal purposes; you will not try to abuse the system or send excessive automated requests.
Safi cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app. The service is provided "as is".
