Safi — Terms of Use

By using Safi you accept the following terms.

1. Description of the service

Safi reads ingredients and visible package evidence by barcode or photo and presents independent halal, vegan, vegetarian, kosher and cruelty-free results.

2. Important disclaimer

Safi issues no halal, kosher or cruelty-free certification and no religious ruling. Vegan ingredients do not prove a no-animal-testing policy. Without reliable kosher or cruelty-free evidence, the result stays uncertain.

The results are not medical, nutritional or allergy advice. For allergy and health decisions, rely on the product's official label and on a qualified professional.

3. Accuracy

Assessments are produced using artificial intelligence and open databases; they may contain errors, gaps or out-of-date information. No guarantee of accuracy is given. Always check the label yourself as well.

4. Free use and optional support

Scanning, family profiles, diet/allergen filters, the saved list and history are free; there is no paid scan tier.
If you wish, join a monthly supporter membership and choose an amount from your store's local price steps. It renews automatically and can be changed or cancelled in your store account.
Membership unlocks a gold supporter badge and a monthly aggregate impact summary; Safi's main colour remains green. Scanning and filters remain identical for non-paying users.
Payment and refunds are subject to the terms of the store you use.

5. Acceptable use

You will use the app only for lawful, personal purposes; you will not try to abuse the system or send excessive automated requests.

6. Limitation of liability

Safi cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app. The service is provided "as is".
